Reports from Greek and Cypriot media are reporting that Greek superstar Eleni Foureria has agreed to fly the flag for Cyprus in Lisbon!

Many readers may remember Foureira, from Greek national selections of year gone by. She is also memorable for expressing her dismay at the Greek national broadcaster, for overlooking her throughput their internal selection in 2016/17.

It is reported that Eleni has already recorded her song, which according to authoritative sources has surpassed all expectations. Of course, the song has been produced by Alex Papaconstantinou has produced her song and true to his backlog of modern and upbeat songs!

Eleni is sure to bring an up-tempo entry to the stage in Lisbon and serve us with some choreography to boot. Eleni is showing Greece what they have missed out on by representing Greece’s voting partners Cyprus, her participation is sure to get her points from Greece and Albania, which Cyprus will need to get a decent result.

Eleni has been a public figure within the

Eurovision community after she was beaten by the ill-fated Argo in an internal selection, in 2016. Then again being overlooked by the greek broadcaster in 2017 in favour for Demy and her song “This Is Love”

I am very excited to see what Eleni will bring to the stage in Lisbon!

Watch her other material below!

Her version of "Golden Boy" Israel 2015.....

Cyprus was represented by Hovig with his song “Gravity” the song did draw some strong resemblences to Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human” and it got worse once it got to the competition where his staging was slammed as copying Lioc Nottet’s 2015 staging! Hovig eventually shut down the haters qualifying to the final where he placed 21st, the same place Minus One, received in 2016! Watch his performance below!
