The ever exciting second chance round of Melodifestivalen 2018, which some fans thought to be stronger than what had already qualified for the final has finished with a few favourites being booted from the competition.

Duel 1: Margaret VS Moncho

The polish superstar took on a fan fave in Moncho and came out victorious, credit to Margaret she slayed her performance and became the first foreign act to make it to the final of Melodifestivalen, In My Cabana, had Sweden's hearts racing, as her heart lasted 14 seconds longer than Moncho's. Credit to Moncho he performed his heart out and gave a very respectable performance in this Andra Chansen duel. In the end Margaret took home the ticket to the final! Taking "In My Cabana" to 10th place in the running order for the grand final!

Duel 2: Renaida VS Olivia Eliasson

The battle of the divas was the second duel of the night as "All The Feels" and idol alum Renaida took on relative newcomer Oliva Eliasson and "Never Learn". Renaida went into this duel heavily favoured to come out as the winner, but for a hot second melfest fans seemed to have other plans, as Renaida's heart seemed to die, while Olivia's exploded. In the end the heavily favoured Renaida came out victorious sending Olivia home, and "All The Feels" straight to 2nd place in the running order of the grand final!

Duel 3: Mimi Werner VS Felix Sandman

The duel of two veterans of melfest was the third duel, both of the entries were fan favourites and cause the most divide between fans alike, this was the furthest Mimi had made it before in Melfest, while Felix was attempting to do what FO&O did last year and enter the final through Andra Chansen. In the end it was quite obvious who was going through, Felix's heart exploded much like Olivia's in the previous, while Mimi's lacked behind and in the end Felix Sandman won the duel and won the 9th spot in the running order of the final!

Duel 4: Sigrid Bernson VS Mendez

The final battle for the final spot in the final came down to a Melodifestivalen veteran and a newcomer, Mendez VS Sigrid, both entries were widely criticised by fans for the use of heavy playback, with both mic feeds from their semi finals, being less than impressive. Both of the hearts were very similar in pattern, making it one of the hardest duels to predict, in the end the more experienced star won out with Mendez and "Everyday" winning the duel and winning the opening slot in the final of Melodifestivalen 2018!

After Andra Chansen closed the final running order was finalised:

1) Mendez - Everyday

2) Renaida - All The Feels
