On saturday (10th March) Sweden decided who would be flying that oh so familiar blue and yellow flag with their national final "Melodifestivalen".

The winner was Benjamin Ingrosso with his song "Dance You off".

Benjamin Daneiele Wahlgren Ingrosso was born on the 14th September 1997 in Danderyd, Sweden and has been singing and performing since he was 6 years old.

In 2006, he won "Lilla Melodifestivalen" with his song "Hej Sofia" and got to represent Sweden in MGP Nordic in Stockholm where he placed fourth.

He has participated in a few musicals, he even did a medley of the Jackson 5 songs with his mother Pernilla Wahlgren. He stopped doing musicals in 2014 to focus more on music and songwriting.

In 2016 he released his first single "Fall in Love" which led to him being signed to his current record label TEN Music Group.

in 2014, he won the Swedish Celebrity dance show "Lets Dance" with his proffesional partner Sigrid Bernson (who also competed in Melfest this year with her song Patrick Swayze)

In 2017 he competed in Melodifestivalen with "Good Lovin", where he placed fourth.

He came back this year with "Dance you off" where he won!!

Benjamin will represent Sweden in Lisbon in May, where he will perform in the second half of the second semi final.

Georgia's opinion: This is my top song! I strongly feel that Sweden can win again! i wanted him to win last year, ad im so glad that his chance has finally come around! I also adore his friendship with Felix Sandman (who also competed with Every Single Day).
