Nearly four months ago, it was confirmed that Saara Aalto will represent Finland in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Now, it's time for her to select her entry in the Finnish national final, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, which will take place at 18:00 CET tonight (19:00 local time).
But, which song will be chosen? Will it be Saara's spooky efforts in "Monsters", her performance fit for royalty with "Queens" or will the Finnish public and jury topple over for her song "Domino"? Our writers here at WORLDVISIONEWS have formed a 'Worldvision Jury' to rate and review all three of Saara's Eurovision candidate songs, but which is our favourite? Read our reviews below...
Monsters
Written by Saara Aalto, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb & Ki Fitzgerald
Jack: "An amazingly upbeat track that showcases Saara's vocal talents beautifully! The song is very mainstream pop, but it incorporates some very personal lyrics which make this song so good! I hope Saara is able to pull this off live, but we know she can pull of a live performance."
Score: 9.0/10
Thomas: "Monsters is a very catchy pop song that will probably become a great hit across European radio stations this year! It is a great song with very good lyrics and this could do very well in Eurovision! An absolute banger from Saara here!"
Score: 9.5/10
Georgia: "Stunning! By far the best choice for Finland, definitely top 10 if picked! The outfit isn't my favourite but she always surprises when it comes to staging! Good work!"
Score: 9.0/10
Luis: "It's good but I'm not 100% sure about it. I don't know if this will do well or not."
Score: 7.5/10
César: "I think it's a typical commercial song by Saara Aalto but it is catchy. It's not my favourite but it'll win UMK for sure!"
Score: 6.5/10
Aidan: "The vocals are amazing, by far the strongest one, and it's all in all, a song that has potential to win Eurovision. It is similar to Fairytale by Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), with the same style"
Score: 9.0/10
Worldvision Jury Average: 8.42/10
Domino
Written by Thomas G:son, Bobby Ljunggren, Johnny Sanchez, Will Taylor & Saara Aalto
Jack: "A great ballad driven again by Saara's vocal talent, this song has drive, unlike so many ballads before - this has soul, it has purpose, it has meaning! The staging potential for this song is great! I can see Saara standing on stage with her face being blown off by a wind machine! Well done G:son, you have redeemed yourself for this year!"
Score: 8.0/10
Thomas: "As ballads go, this is a very good one, but with Eurovision changing so much to follow the musical trends across Europe and with more pop-like songs entering the contest like that of the Czech Republic and Slovenia, a song like this could get easily lost at Eurovision and therefore I can't give it a higher score than I have, but the song is beautiful and it will remain on my playlists for months to come!"
Score: 8.0/10
Georgia: "A ballad from Saara? Yes please! This is amazing, but the stage outfit is not that great, but I'm still not ruling this one out! The song honestly gave me goosebumps, it's stunning whether it goes to Eurovision or not."
Score: 8.0/10
Luis: "This would be great for Eurovision! This is my favourite of Saara's songs, if they send this they are entering top 5 at least!"
Score: 9.5/10
César: "I don't like it so much. Saara has more great songs and they are all better than this... great vocals too, but, I don't know, not my type..."
Score: 4.5/10
Aidan: "This song is cheesy and honestly feels like a rip-off of Domino by Jessie J. This song would find difficulty escaping the semi-final"
Score: 5.0/10
Worldvision Jury Average: 7.17/10
Queens
Written by Farley Arvidsson, Charlie Walshe, Tom Aspaul & Saara Aalto
Jack: "The most unique of all her entries, Queens is very much Saara circa X Factor craziness - we can see Björk inspiration, we can see the discotheque! This has what seems to be the most staging potential for UMK and Eurovision, but I do like the song the least but I know Saara can bring it!"
Score: 7.0/10
Thomas: "This is one of the most underrated songs by the fandom of this national final season! With nods to the queens of this brand new nation, it shows that women are doing it for themselves and I think we can definitely use the term 'SLAY QUEEN!', when talking about this song! It is flawless."
Score: 10.0/10
Georgia: "This song is the weakest of the three, it's not my thing but could still do well if picked, purely because Saara slays with whatever she does, and the stage outfit is the best out of the 3!"
Score: 6.0/10
Luis: "Weakest out of them all, and her dress is quite bad, even though it's a powerful song and could do great in Eurovision!"
Score: 5.5/10
César: "OMG! Love it! I don't know why it is so underrated by the fandom! It would do an amazing job in Lisbon! Hope this can win! Love the lyrics, music and vocals!"
Score: 10.0/10
Aidan: "This song is kind of weak. The lyrics are cheap and it seems like your stereotypical Eurovision song. This song might make it to the finals, but will most likely flop."
Score: 6.0/10
Worldvision Jury Average: 7.42/10

Let us know in the comments section below and make sure you don't miss Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, hosted by Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013) and Mikko Silvennoinen tonight, at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time/17:00 GMT). Finland debuted in Eurovision in 1961 where they finished 10th in a field of 16. Since their debut, they have only ever made the top 5 once which was when they won in 2006. They have, however, finished in last place nine times and was relegated from the contest five times between 1994 and 2003 when the relegation rules were in place.
